Athlon Base Unit
So, I'm selling this wonderful base unit...
Annodised Copper Case
AMD Athlon 2500xp (overclocked and stable at 3200) with Zalman cooler
Abit NF7S Nforce 2 Motherboard
2Gb ram
Ati AX850 Extreme (never been clocked)
Sony DVD-RW
Vintage 3.5" floppy drive
In the pics there are 2x H/Ds in there, I will be leaving 1x 200Gb SATA drive in there, it can either come with a validated XP Pro sp2 or formatted.
Now I know it's not state of the art our owt but it's a good machine that will run most things fine.
As the case is metal framed etc it's one heavy mo fo so posting it would cost a fortune so I'd prefer to meet up at a mutually convenient location (I'm in Northampton)
There are 2 things wrong with the base unit;
1: it likes to have 30 seconds from switching the plug on to you actually starting the PC. For some reason the 600Watt PSU needs some private time with Mr Leccy
2: one of the mainboard mounted USB ports is broken, however there are 2 additional ports on the back (plus firewire) and 2 futher ones on the front, so there are still 5 to choose from.
Pics
Asking £150ono
