Why would u put standard wheels and spoilers on a rare car like a S202 ?
Surely that knocks a chunk of the value as they would'nt be easy to replace .

Hi lads I took it in px against my R33 gtr, have no idea why somebody would want to replace the wheels etc for standard items. As for price I reckon its priced accordingly, and yes the logbook states its registered by ktc, but believe me its in very good condition with no faults to report. I personally would not buy from ktc, but this car is an exception.

whats this about spec c??

Being devils advocate here, but has anyone actually had this car properly looked at by a Subaru specialist?

We know its not an S202 but it could well be a Spec C that someone in Japan has had resprayed in S202 colours. As for the registration, we know full well the DVLA regularly makes mistakes issuing cars with the right years prefix.

Just checked the applied model code of gdbb4fh, and it is listed as both the S202 and the sti ra spec c.

mate,

i hope you get it sorted, this car has been the topic of many conversations on here so a search should reveal some interesting reading.

Would get back to KTC and ask for a refund, nothing that comes from there seems to be genuine, but i also think it does have the titanium tipped exaust.

but the absence of a lot of other things seems suspect.

good luck though and ask people on here as they might be brutally blunt but they do know their stuff.

Mac

From the pic the colour doesn't match thats for sure. But what I think really needs to be done is for someone in the know to REALLY look at it.

If its got damage repair, then fine it confirms what we suspect to be the case. If after a complete inspection no repair work can be found then at least we know its not going to snap in half in an accident.

It might just have been nicked, cloned and then flogged through the auctions to the UK. In which case its the engine/transmission that could be in question and as its been in the UK for quite a while I would assume that if any damage had been done through theft it would have shown up by now.

All it needs a few quid spent at one of the more reputable places on here to determine if its been damaged.

If it hasn't then I think its looks pretty good IMO A clean bill of health from API, scoobyclinic et el will see this car sold - maybe not for asking price but you got to admit its become quite famous on here.
