Lovely sounding car and I'd love a P1 but can't stretch to more than £22k so an earlier one beckons really.
I would guess that the wiper mod makes it sweep intermittantly instead of constantly.
Good luck with the sale.
Cheers,
Phil

Tinsta,
The intermittent rear wipe system was installed by my dealer. It just permits intermittent action rather than the default constant wipe.
They fitted a timer to it and spent most of the day sorting it out.
The car is still for sale. RS4 arriving mid Jan - must sell.
HNY.

z80, do you know about the superheating on the RS4 alloys causing them to become deformed? Has happened on a lot of cars and many have been recalled. Saw it in Top Gear recently. Email me if you need more info: andrewmazibrada@hotmail.com

Maz,
Thanks for your advice. Yes I have heard about the on-going saga of the wheel issue. I',m assured (yet to be totally re-assured though) that there's a lifetime exchange & warranty by Audi regarding the wheels.
The car has too many other good attributes for me to not take up the offer. It's the last (or almost last) new unregistered RS4 in the UK.
I realise the P1 is quicker around a twisty route from A to B but I need an estate of sorts and 0-60 in 4.7 secs & 0-100 in 11.2 is still reasonable enough for the Audi.
The car's still available folks.
Thanks,
Simon
