Hi Spec 1995 Version 2 STI RA for sale
Rare version without roof vent or DCCD & wind up windows.
Car is very clean, possibly resprayed in Japan before being imported.Comes with Japanese owners handbook & Service History.
Interior is way above average as well.
Mileage is approx 80k but the engine was rebuilt by API in November 2006 with forged pistons, steel conrods & heavy duty head studs. The engine is tough enough for 500 bhp & this kind of rebuild alone is normally 4500 pounds! David at API has kindly agreed to confirm the above work.
The coil packs & lambda sensor were recently replaced as well.
Car has probably only covered 2000 miles since rebuild.
Mot until Jan 2008, Taxed until October 2007.
Standard RA spec includes:
Grey STI seats
Aluminium bonnet
close ratio gearbox
Closed Deck Block with 5th injector
Gold 5 spoke 16 inch wheels (not pictured)
STI suspension
Extras:
Toad Cat1 alarm
Walbro 255 fuel pump
6 point roll cage ( does not interfere with front or rear seat Access)
Apexi ECU with controller mapped by Pat
Apexi AVCR boost controller
Kevlar Cambelt
Momo Competition Steering Wheel
Braided Brake Hoses
Dot 5.1 brake fluid
STI Panel filter
Gruppe S headers with heat wrap
BRD 3 inch downpipe
HKS Hiper Ti-Tip Exhaust
Milsport Centre Console with Oil Temp, Boost & Knocklink
New Exedy Organic clutch
Lightened Flywheel
The Car is probably producing about 320 bhp but with the low gearing it accelerates very well! I have done a 13.1/105 quarter mile but a better driver could dip into the 12s probably!
With a bigger turbo & intercooler this would really fly & you already have the engine & ECU to take it.
I built the car for sprinting with no expense spared but I'm buying a flat so it's got to go (sob;-)
Asking £6250 ono.
Cheers, John
