I have an unregistered May 1998 White STi V4 Type R, which has developed an engine knock. This happened last night, car was parked and trailered home, knocking appears to be coming from rhs rocker cover area. On stopping car I could hear bubbling in the coolant header tank. ( possibly a faulty water pump ). This car it immaculate, totally standard and shows 69K kms the only parts missing are the strut brace and the *** lighter, ( possibly taken at the docks ). Perfect for a 2.5 implant or sort the engine.
£4900, No vultures please. Time not on my side to sort it out though I'm happy to register it for you in May 2008, hence a nice leasurely project for someone. Car can be heard running.

have a look to see if the spark plugs are loose... mine was knocking from the same place

Bargain here for someone who is prepared to do a bit of DIY, will take any EJ20 engine ie V3 onwards.
