2003 (53) Impreza Wrx STI Type UK (TSL333)

I have owned the car for about 18 months, the car has done 48k miles and has just undergone its rather expensive
50k service, including cam belt.
The car is only slightly modified with the following modifications.


Prodrive performance pack
TSL333 upgrade (TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK) (excluding de-cat)
TSL group N back box
Scott lowe front lip


It made 318.5 bhp first time on the rollers, which was on a hot day, should be around 330 on a cooler
day, RR results below.


I have just got the car back from triton motorsport today, and even had comments about how good the power curve is and how clean the car looks.
Today the car made 312.9 bhp and 315 lb/ft, the reason it does not quite
make the full 333bhp is because it does not have the thundercat downpipe/de-cat that comes with the conversion, instead the ppp cat has been kept on.

It is still fitted with the standard re-circulating dump valve.

The good points
The car has never been tracked, is always warmed up properly and always cooled down properly.
Car has full subaru service history up to 40k, but due to my complete lack of faith in the main dealer i have
decided to use a trusted subaru specialist for
any further work.
Oil has been changed between service intervals by myself and mechanically minded friends.
The car has never missed a beat, always starts first time and has never let me down.




The bad points.

The car was originally keyed and repaired before i bought it, looking closely you can see some blemishes in the
paint work.
A few minor scrathes on one of the doors and on the rear bumper, these would be easy to polish out.
The interior has a few marks on the plastic dash, 1 on the steering wheel.
The seats are starting to wear very slightly.
