pauls a mate of mine and hes a very honest and genuine seller.

heres the bumf from his advert for the car.

very rare, very late registered UK classic Wagon in stunning Mica Red. But this is no ordinairy wagon, on first glance it looks pretty standard apart from the privacy glass. On closer examination, the wheels are bigger than standard and then you notice those HUGE PRODRIVE SIX POT CALIPERS and PRODRIVE 355 mm Discs. So its a late rare clour wagon in the classic shape with big rims and stoppers, so what. Well the stoppers are for a reason.............To help haul in over 400 bhp. The whole conversion was done at the late part of last year and has not even covered 6000 miles since. The car was built by members of the SIDC and you can tell, the whole job is beautifully put together at an expense of over £12k.

The Spec is as follows:-

JDM 2.5 litre STI Engine

V7 Ported and polished heads

Andy Forrest TURBO

Full stainless including headers which are heat wrapped

Blitz Front Mount Intercooler

Blitz DV

Blitz Air Intake

WRC fueling with uprated injectors

Full chromed custom Hard Piping

Full Samco Hose's Kit

Big core radiator

Rebuilt gearbox with strengthend internals

Rebuilt strengthend diffs

Paddle clutch and uprated Cover

synthetic clutch/brake fluids

Prodrive six pot calipers

Prodrive 350mm discs

Red stuff pads

ASA 18" Alloys wrapped in nearly new Yoko Paradas

Bilstein uprated lowered full suspension kit

STI carbon strutbraces

Sti Wagon body kit

Sti Wagon rear lights

Full crystal light kit

Lamba link and Knock link hard wired into the centre air vents, keeping an eye on everything for you

3 pod guages built onto the dash

Proffesional alarm and ACTIVE TRACKER.

ECU-TEK mapped by scooby-clinic, to 367 bhp and 390lb of torque with graphs to prove. It has had Ported and polished big valve V7 heads and stainless headers added since the last power run and is easily 400bhp and over now. The difference the heads and headers have made is awsome. The Wagon has a lovely stealth look to it, but believe me this thing pulls from any revs in any gear the torque is unbelievable and Scooby-clinics mapping is brilliant. You can easily tootle around in this car, as any standard impreza does, but open it up and it is awsome. It really has been built superbly and you can tell, unlike a lot of modded imprezas this one is not fussy at all. It does exactly what it was built for without any fuss at all. SUPERB.

Thats all the nice bits and the only bad bits are that it could do with some slight cosmetics to the front because of stone chipping and a couple of car parking dings. They can be sorted by dent master at £35 a panel and its just the usual car parking dings nothing major. With those bits sorted it really would be a show stopper. Oh yes its got a full set of Subaru carpet overmats, lol.

It will be a no reserve auction and you are welcome to view, but you must bring two forms of identification with you and they must include a home address and photo document. I may possible be interested in doing a deal on something else, Type R in blue etc....

Sorry for the delay. The image hosting site completely threw me. The wagon is still for sale. I made a heanous crime of putting a genuine scoob on FLEA-BAY: , I said in the auction if you have below 5 positive feedback your bid would be cancelled...........Oh God open the loony bin, i had to cancel stupid bid after bid. Looking back at it, i think it was a lot to do with the idiot Audi club, as a lot of the bids were from belgium and the good old USof BOMBTHEMALL A. So i contacted the highest genuine bidder at the time to explain and he was aware of what was going on. So i am never using that mad house again. So it is, as, is in the advert. Only now has 12 months MOT and six months tax. Anything you need to know fire the questions over, trust me, i nearly got turned over by Kart_Man, and most of you know that thread. So don't expect the same from me Cheers **** M8.

Thats a really nice looking wagon.

Could you go into a bit more detail about the 'rebuilt gearbox with strengthend internals and rebuilt strengthend diffs' please mate?? Also, which turbo is it running??

Dont fancy a deal with my Scoob do you?? Pics in 'View my Scooby' at the bottom...

Cheers,
Grant

'Nice Wagon' it's an awsome Wagon dude. Ooops just been outside and checked, they are four pots but they still pull your teeth out when you use them. There are two spoilers on the tailgate, same as on my V5 STI Wagon i once owned , but i also had a V7 STI Wagon and that was ultra .Apologies if i have gotten it wrong, but the rest is spot on. I bought the car off a very well respected (and large ) scoobynet member and it is everything else it says on the tin. Thanks for pointing that out mate, Webby.

Yeh there are a couple of lads near me who have got Type'r and even though i dont have the manic gearing they have, but because of the amount of torque it is all over them.not that i condone that sort of thing. To be honest it is the engine the impreza has been in need of for years and the build is extremely ****. Cheers M8. Webby.

That's why i love Wagons. Descreet, very usuable, practical, proper shape to them and if it was a flippin Audi S/RS Avant people would bite your hand off for them. And that is the shame of it all, does everything an Audi-Avant, Bmw-Touring can do only better and with a HUGE PAMELA ANDERSON'S NORKS, style grin, but does'nt get the credit. About time people woke up to the fact. But hey their ignorant loss. Flame suit on
