Question

After revisiting the price for the kit listed below on the net, I have decided that £3500 is too much, as proven by the interest.

Please I need feedback on this but I feel it is probably worth around £2800. For the full install, again as listed below.

Open to offers around £2800, before splitting, but come on guys - this is a cool piece of kit and deserves to go as one.

After Having recently returned my red 2000MY UK Spec Impreza to standard ready for sale, I have had to remove my stereo.

The Subaru was built as a demo car at SQ Plus (www.sqplus.com - the car is on the site) And has been featured in:

Fast Car
Car Stereo
Ice with Jordan (TV - Jordan interviewed....nice)
MAX Power LIVE 2000 show

The Stereo is massive!, and has been fully removed from the subaru, it is all boxed, and was very very loud - but sounded well too. It was based in a 2000MY Car, it has a full custom boot build, covered in red alcantara. Everything is in immaculate condition with boxes, Install is ready to drop into another scooby and would take SQ Plus only one day. All speakers etc are in mint condition, everything was built to handle the power. The Hardware components are:

Source:
Kenwood KVC-1000 7inch touch screen
Kenwood KTC-1000R Radio and TV Tuner for above
Kenwood KMD-D400 Kenwood DIN InDash MD Changer (3+1) fits box in boot
Kenwood KDC-CPS82 Premium 10 disc CD Changer
JVC KV-V10 HiFi Video

Amps:
2* DA602 60W*2 RMS Dragster Amps, run bridged, one per front door
1* DA2002 200W*2 RMS Dragster Amp, run bridged accross subs
Phoenix Gold BASS Cube (an awesome piece of kit)

Speakers:
4* 10" DWC105 Dragster Subs
1 Pair DLS Ultimate US Front door speakers with xover

PLUS

Sub Boxes
Amp Boxes (Under perspex with neon lighting)
FULL Cabling all the power, dist blocks etc
Build cover - so you can still use the boot!

This stereo really is awesome, photos can be emailed upon request.

The full kit cost me £7500

Guys, I've seen and heard this kit and it is truly awesome... if I had some spare cash I'd probably grab it (the RB5 has swallowed a load )

I have the same DLS's in my legacy. I am a bit of an audiofile!!!
They are the finest speakers i have ever heard in a car. I use "Soundstream" amps and a "Nakamichi " elct/crossover..

Might be interested in the Subs..

your System does sound "Balanced" on paper.

Be Lucky

Just a little.....but at least thats an offer.....

So I wanted £2700...I've been offered £1600....okay....it's a start I suppose.

Installation costs btw could be from nothing to loads.

It is all it Kit form, and I'm sure a competent person could install the system themselves. Phil at SQPlus can give free support on this. Although, if you want Phil to install it it will cost, and that could be anything I presume from £100 to whatever....depending on wether you want dynamat, add navi, etc.

If you drop me a mail I'll return mobile number if anyone wants to chat about this....

The Fact is it will only gather dust sat at home - it has to go, hopefully to another subaru owner
