Hi there.

I have got a front entry TD05H 16g for sale.

Surplus to requirements.

From a 77,000km 1995 Sti with no obvious play and I was informed no smoking.

I paid give or take £200 to buy the turbo and get it converted to front entry by API and want to try and recoup as much as I can.

Could deliver within 40 miles of Melton Mowbray for free or will post (ask me how much if interested (prob around £20ish to the U.K.)).

My car has now been mapped by David and Pat on an identical TD05 16g and it absolutely flies, only scared myself everytime i've been out in it so far!

The turbo should fit straight onto a P1 but I thought the standard P1 turbo could produce similar to a TD05 16g (not to do myself out of a sale but wouldn't want to con anyone - and I might be wrong!)

hi mate what power did you see from the other turbo and how come you are selling it if you have fitted the same on your car

Simple answer is that by accident we ended up with 2 turbos. Dezmondo had one and we had one.

Just ended up doubling the order by accident, in a rush to make sure that we had one on the day.

Both are identical - nothing wrong with either, both will oerform the same. It will make a bit more power on the P1, but not a huge amount.

and sorry how much for this turbo, there is one on hewre for 100 and one on ebay for buy it now for 130 so waht money are you taling about for this turbo

and also what power did it make then? what may i hope from my p1 etc

Got the pm and replied chris!

I want £200 for mine as it has already been converted to front entry which costs £60+ and a bit of delivery on top of that! Once again, if you are planning to put it in a P1 I don't think the gains will be worth the hassle (I am wondering if this being considerate thing is wise when trying to sell something, ho hum!)

Once again, thanks for your comments and explainations David (as helpful as ever!), been too busy to come on here today!

By the way I will post a full report on my car as soon as I get time!!

Steve1982 - The turbo you have on your car can be pushed to 320bhp maybe a bit more IIRC. Just with a bit of uprated breathing (green etc panel filter, sports exhaust system with a couple of sportcats/decats) a better fuel pump (walbro 255lph) and an Ecutek map and you will have 320 - 330bhp - no need to touch your turbo!! Speak to David at API he will sort you out!
