Due to a change in plans I have for sale the following:
A fully built forged 2.0L short block.
to the following spec:
sti Version 9 niterided crank
RCMS modified WRC lead copper main bearings
RCMS lead copper big end bearings
Eagle forged con rods with ARP bolts
Wiseco 93 mm forged pistons with 8.35: comp ratio.
These have been run for approx 10,000 miles and are in excellent condition.
I'm selling as I have been offered a 2.5 short motor for silly money.
Basically I'm looking to finance the 2.5 build. Offers???
Any serious offers please email me at daz@scoob.co.uk

The crank and rods have done about 10K
The pistons and bearings have done 5K
Basically The crank and rods were supplied as part of a rebuild package I had done at TSL motorsport.
On a UK engine. This engine eventually had a cracked cylinder head.
So it was replaced with an STI 5 engine from a subaru breakers.
After a bottom end faliure on the STI5 motor
I rebuilt the motor using the STI V 9 crank and Eagle Rods that TSL supplied , a full set of modified race bearings were bought along with brand new Wiseco forged pistons.
The block was then bored and honed to accept the new pistons and has run very well since.
As said before the only reason I am parting with it is the fact i've been offered an EJ257 short block for silly cheap money that will be better suited for my Garrett GT30 turbo charger that i have purchased.

If I keep it I'll strip it and use the rods in the 2.5 build.
I'll then sell the crank, and pistons seperately.
This is a fooking bargain.
Rods £400
Pistons £500
Crank £400
Subaru WRC bearings with RCMS modification £320
Bore and hone £160
Plus running in map £300
running in fuel ???
oil changes 2 x £40 = £80
oil filters 2 x £6 = £12
remap when run in £300
Labour to build short block £70 ish
Lets say £2500 + Vat or there abouts
or
buy this block for £1200, do the maths
fit it, map it job done!!!
