Default EJ22t 2.2 engine

EJ22T, the bad boy, the daddy etc.
2.2L closed deck block, as used in the 22b and the base lump for 2.35 conversion.
less than 20k miles from new.
Fully documented history from assembly.
comes with version 4 heads, RCMS modified oil pump, modine, thermostat, water pipes, sump, ph1 or ph2 manifold and starter motor.
Great engine in great condition

Im asking 1550gbp (or 1200gbp + your standard EJ20 in part-ex)

To clarify, this has standard sti rods and pistons in it from a standard EJ22T, I believe the sti pistons are forged.

So it's a 22b block without oil squirters then?

If it's a US market EJ22T with oil squirters the stock pistons are cast

If it's a 22b block it won't have oil squirters, if it's a EJ22T it will

They're both marked as EJ22's and externally look identical

What Tim is saying is that the 22B had a ej22, not the ej22t. Both blocks are marked as ej22 and you need to see inside them to positively id one from the other. The blocks were made before sti existed so doubt thet'll have sti parts.

That said got a price for the short block?
