2000 'v' reg. sti6 in yellow.
As the heading says: Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo Sti6 in Cashmere Yellow. V reg, year 2000.
I am led to believe that there are only 2 of these Sti6's in yellow in the uk, although even if thats not true, they are extremely rare.
I've now owned the car for 3 years in November, and prior to that there were 3 registered owners. The last owner kept it for approx. 4 years.
It's MoT'd until April 08 and taxed until the end of October.
Mileage is 107,000 with full service history up until 97,000. Every service has been done at Graham Goode in leicester, where all mods have been carried out. The reason that the last one wasn't done is simply because i haven't had time to get it to Leicester from where i now live in Spalding Lincs. All this year I've been working away from home and only coming home on Friday night. The Girlfriend had been using it for the 3 mile each way drive to work, but now her new job entails a 30 mile each way drive, so we've bought a Diesel for her commute.
The extras weren't fitted by me so I'll try to be as accurate as i can:
VF34 twin scroll roller bearing turbo
Uprated engine management system
AP clutch
Graham Goode Racing Induction kit & Dump valve (loud)
Graham Goode Racing Exhaust (not loud)
Tein Suspension lowering springs. Dont ask how much lower as i dont know, and it doesnt say on the receipt.
Sigma m30 alarm
Trackstar stolen vehicle location system ( i did fit that!)
18" gold technomagnesia 11 spoke alloys with 225/35/18 tyres.
Heavily tinted rear windows. The fronts were done as well but i had it removed after being prosecuted.
JVC 12 stacker cd/stereo/radio
Cant tell you what the bhp is as its never been on a rolling road, but when i bought it i was told it was 402. However when i said that to the manager at Graham Goode he wouldn't commit to it. He did say though it was a "safe" 360bhp.
It had a complete gearbox rebuild 16 months ago with a major service at a cost of £4,719.50. I paid for that and its still stinging...
Bodywork is in extremely good condition with no rust spots. I recently had the front bumper and spoiler resprayed as there were stone chips that you'd expect on a car of this age.
Please be aware, any potential purchasers, that this IS a japanese import and consequently expensive to insure. Even for me,at 40ish yrs old with 7yrs NCB and a clean license, the annual bill is over £1,400, but thats declaring all those extras.
Will really hate to see this car go, as it still brings a huge adrenalin rush when i get to drive it. Time however dictates that those times are rare and its just sitting at home now, which is a huge waste.
Will try to load some recent photos over the weekend, if i manage to get home during daylight.
Im looking to get as near to £6,950 as i can.

thanks for the bump up!
Actually yours is the only other sti6 in yellow that ive seen, up until then i thought mine was unique. I went to a meet near Chesterfield on 1 very cold Sunday and yours was in the pub car park, although i left without meeting you. Too bloody cold. Iirc yours has a v6 badge on the boot?
Anyway, if there only 8 of us it still makes us "unusual". Wouldn't have a blue 1 myself. If I get another, it'll be in black or a nice shade of shocking pink, lilac or purple!

Had this car on the rolling road at Silverstone yesterday, and although it didn't make what i was expecting, it still achieved 321 bhp at the flywheel.
I was told by the tech guy there that the boost needs adjusting to achieve a higher figure. Basically he said that there was nothing wrong with the car, just needs a little tweak.

Well Simo, I hope you change the wheels. What model is it by the way?
We are hoping to put the house on the market around xmas, and i'm going into mad-mode with a chunk of the equity. Can't go too bonkers coz we have to buy another building plot, but Ferrari 355 berlinetta, or a Radical for irregular visits to the ring is what i've got her to agree to! So i'll probably be getting an Octavia RS..............
Kilo 4Que, Thanks, don't you have any mates that want one?
