89 Porsche 944 Turbo
#1
It's one of the last ones made before they were phased out and is officially called a 951. In 1998 this was the spec. of 944 raced in the European Porsche Supercup series and was sold for the road with only added luxuries. I've made a small list of the good bits below but you'll notice I'm in Hong Kong and so is the car but i'll be prepared to ship it anywhere there is a good home.
53,000 Miles (only) in 12 years
Metallic Blue with no rust
2.5L Turbo
260bhp / 164mph / 0-60 in 4.9s
All the usual racing refinements - Suspension / clutch etc.
Panasonic fx Stereo with 8 Disk CD-Changer, new(ish) speakers
Serviced regularly by local specialist, better than the dealer!
Just had new Water Pump and Timing Belt
New Dash fitted because the sun cracked the old one (came from UK)
Electric Seats / Mirrors & A/C
1yr Bridgestone Potenza F1's all round
Immobilizor
It's definately a classic and it was a tough decision to get the STi but in HK they start to increase the insurance premiums when cars get older than 10 years.
I'm trying to sell for about GBP10k, including the shipping so the only thing you may need to do is change the Speedo from km to mile although the odometer has just been serviced in Oz. Bear in mind it will probably cost 1000 to ship, the low mileage and hopefully you can see this as reasonable.
Thanks for your time.
