Further modifications include

ERL Aquamist Methanol/water injection system
Sard Fuel Pressure regulator

ARP head bolts
255ltr Walbro Fuel pump
HKS Reloaded Induction Kit
HKS Super Dragger Exhaust
Decat pipe
Evo 9 Clutch
Evo 9 Flywheel
Greddy adjustable re circ Dump Valve
Groved brake disc's front and rear
Alloy spark plug cover
Ralliart oil cap
Alloy Breather Tank
HKS Turbo Timer
NGK BR8EIX Iridium plugs

Modifications have been thought out and planned to work together and provide a car that is easy to drive slowly, seriously fast when you want it to be and also completely and utterly reliable. Make no mistake this car will hit the limmter in 5th gear in just over a mile.

Genuinely immaculate throughout, the paint work has no scratches no stone chips, it is completely original with no accident damage. The paint has been treated with a crystal protection system which means even after a wash it looks like its been just polished. Anyone looking to buy an Evo 6 will notice (after viewing a few) that the recaro interior in most cases, ages badly with lots of wear. Either the drivers and passengers side bolsters are worn through or the seat can look shiny as the suede is worn off, in most cases both. Something my car has neither sign off.

This car is cleaner in every area than my previous car which was a 2003 STI Impreza. You really wont find better, i couldn't and i really looked!!!

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

**** Absolute last reduction in price £9995 NO OFFERS, this is a test the water price, if i still have no interest in the car then i will give up selling untill next year sometime. ******

Q- Why am i selling???

A - The wife wants to drive so i need something that she can get insured on for reasonable money. Not in a rush to sell as i dont expect her to pass a driving test until after xmas time. Hmmm i think thats this years xmas pressy sorted.. a car for her.!

I wish more people on here knew me and the car, i could do with someone backing up my claims on how spotless she really is but hey ho..

Enjoy here is some more added (19.11.07)

Thanks for nice comments guys. She is a beauty.

Regarding the cheapo car thats the first thing i said to her. She started on about saftey of the kids in an old rust bucket!! lol.. she does no something about cars after all i thougt.

After a full blown argument, stormed out the house.... i began to think about it and she was right. I dont want my kids being driven around by her in something that will fall apart as soon as she mounts the first kerb. I'm not sure what to get her but it will be something decient / reliable. Dont you just hate women and all their common sence!

Today i managed to find an insurance company that will accept the wife on an STI, it basically works out at £1300 per year for the 2 of us.

The evo is just a no go insurance wise for her.!! worst quote was £4921 FC

So end result is.... possibly back to scooby land. may p/x for 2001 and newer scooby.

Cheers

My self included.... i bought the 03 Sti in april this year as i couldn't get a reasonable quote on one... then in aug i just happended to be reading a thread on the MLR about insurance costs and found someone else of similar age, NCB etc as myself being insured for the same money as the scoob.... i called my insurance company and hey presto £20 per year more..!!

under 25's need not bother with an Evo as its just silly money IF you can get a quote. Over 25 is no problem and only buttons more than an STI!!

Its also a myth that Evos cost the earth to run.... petrol is the same cost and it drinks just as much!! 300bhp scooby vs 360bhp+ evo = same amount each week from the local V power shop. I havent noticed any increase at all. ACY FULL service is £80 every 10k and £40 every 5K for the low pressure side... although the low pressure side can be done yourself for less than £15. (prices from wallace performance in Aberdeen)

Cheers
