Default FOR SALE - 42" Plasma TV SAMSUNG

Samsung Plasma TV

SAMSUNG PS-42C7HD

Selling my Samsung Plasma TV, only selling as I’m moving out next month and the new place has no room for this, so it has to go 

This TV speaks for itself, it’s absolutely MASSIVE!
42” Inch sceen! - Built in DV3 for receiving Free Digital TV Channels - HD Ready – Nicam Stereo – TELE TEXT….the lot!

It comes with:-
Remote
Power Lead
Wall Bracket (not the correct one for this TV But made to fit) the bracket has been modified to fit this TV and is perfectly use-able) NO modifications have been made to the TV.

I paid £1,700 for this TV less than 6 months ago, I don’t have the box or anything as it was just too big to keep in storage.

Sorry but there’s no way I can post this at all, Firstly it’s just too heavy and secondly I wouldn’t trust royal mail to delivery this safely.

COLLECTION only please (I am in Leeds, West Yorkshire)
I MAY deliver or MEET halfway between a reasonable distance - Contact me if Interested

£650 No offers sorry - may swap for somthing interesting though, what you got? PM if interested

As much as i appreciate the offer mate, i'll have to say no. reason is i'm moving out so i need the cash to pay the rent/bond for the first month e.t.c - i'd keep this and use it in the new place if i could afford to but i cant - dont get me wrong, i'm not desperate to get rid, just the money would be more useful right now.

no docs or box or anything as the box was just too big to keep in storage, the docs were thrown out with the box.

as for warranty, again, no docs to prove warranty but it comes with a standard manufacturer warranty of 2 years, i've had it 6 months....u do the math...

if anyones interested, my numbers 079044 88885 - Nash

Good luck anyway..

risk, it's a TV, less than a year old, what could possibly be wrong with it?

if it was a portable 10" Black and white analouge from 1977 then i'd agree it would be a risk.

oh well it's on ebay now

You say its 6 months old..it may not be..My friend has a 40" Sony Bravia and its his 3rd set in 18 months as the colour keeps faulting..

I mean, what have you done with the receipt? It may even be nicked..

Like i say,if it was cheaper it would be worth the risk of buying it,but considering there only £100 more new anyway, whats the point??

Yours also has a 1024 x 768 panel,you can get a 1024x1080 Hitachi for £679 or a Philips 1920x1080p for £739,both with 12 months warranty.

So forgive me for being a little reluctant ,im sure you can see a potential buyers point of view

i dont know how big you peoples houses are but if you see the size of this TV you'll understand why i didnt keep the box, it was just too large of an item to keep in storage so i threw it away along with the instructions and receipt - it's a TV, do we really need instructions on how to work a TV?

as of the receipt, i bought it on my Credit card (paid for, not higher purchase) so i have buyer protection which acts as a return policy.

anyways whatever, i dont have to explain my reasons for selling it.

It's a TV - and it's for sale. end of.

Im not getting into a debate with you here, but you acting like everybody does the same as you..
I,as well as many others have bought stuff on credit cards and i get a receipt, especially on an item worth £1700!!,i already have a 42" plasma TV,so i wouldnt expect anyone to keep the box,but the instructions are important, especially for set up and connectivity issues..

Its also proof of when it was bought...Which it seems you dont have..this can obviously become an issue..like it has..

Your trying to sell the TV for top money, but have bugger all to back up its age, authenticy or anything..

Ive got the 42" panasonic box in the garage just incase... problem with the plamsa screens is you have to transport them standing upright, as lying down they have a nice tendency to crack on the slightest bump in the road.

Exactly what he said - i'd be more than willing to include a print out of my Credit card Statement which details the Date/Time and Location + Price when i bought this TV.

fatscoobfella1 is right about the reciept !! I have a cheap LCD tv i needed a power supply for, i rang the manufaturer only to find out that if i did not have a valid reciept with date of purchase etc they could not help me !! It was a nightmare trying to get a power supply for the tv but i did eventually get one from an independant supplier at a cost !!!
