Anyone after a very cheap diesel run around??
I've got a Ford Fiesta 1.8 diesel ghia 5 dr '95 M reg for sale in very dark green, almost black.
It has been used as my daily runner as I'm only using the scooby for pleasure. Being a diesel its very economical as you'd expect, Last week I turn't around 330 miles from £30 of diesel, and that was at £101.9 per litre!
I bought it off a bloke at work who had it for the same reason, and he owned it for 1 1/2 years. He had the cambelt changed which I have the reciept for.
Its currently sitting on 41k miles, I know Fords only have 5 digit odo's so I'm not 100% sure if its a genuine 41k miles or if its gone round the clock, but my mate who I bought it off said he bought it off an old fella and he bought it off him when it was on 28k miles. It starts every time and hasn't let me down, or the bloke I bought it off. The engine bay is very clean which could easily indicate that the milage could be a genuine 41k. I recently spent £130 replacing the clutch cable (which had stretched) the drivers lower wish bone, and the front discs and pads.
Being the ghia model it has electric windows, power steering, twin airbags, sunroof and central locking. It also has a Panasonic face off cd player. It has tax until end of march '08, mot runs out on the 8th jan 08.
Bodywork isn't perfect, but this reflects the price, it is a run around daily beater so what do you expect?? It has a few dents on either side, nothing major, and a slight bit of rust coming through on the arches, but again, nothing major. All tyres are good with plenty of life left in them. It even has xr3i dog leg alloys on it sprayed matt black! I think thats it off the top of my head.
I have checked autotrader and the cheapest equivilant car I found was priced at £575 and that had 67k miles on the clock,........
So I think £350 is a reasonable price for mine, well worth the money for keeping your scooby looking mint!
I haven't got any pics of it yet but will try to get some up this weekend.
PM me if your interested.
Cheers,
Az.

I only took one quick photo of it yesterday before I went out, didn't have time to take loads of photos and the car is currently at my mates house, but here's how it looks:-
Excuse the mud from the lanes I have to go down on my way to work!
