I've got the above block for sale, the engine was fitted by Subaru under warranty and has only covered 25k since fitted! The engine does have a problem and I've been told that main bearings have gone but the crank hasn't picked up. I took the chance whilst the engines out to do a 2.5 conversion so the original 2.0 block is available!

Bump, this would be a great engine for anyone wanting to rebuild without having to take theres out straight away!

I'm a little confused?? How would you know that the crank hasn't picked up, if the mains have gone without disassembling the rods from the crank??

What sort of ££ are you thinking (out of interest?)

just what I've been told, I'm not that mechanical myself lol! I don't know what I want for it £ wise, just want to get rid of it really or I'm goinf to take it down the crap yard!
