Thinking about selling my Mk1 Black M5 Turbo in superb condition.
Performance upgrades by performance 5, to make this car into a real pocket rocket.
Its dynoed 243bhp at the fly in the past and recently dynoed at 190bhp at the wheels. So anywhere between 220-243bhp in a car that weights less than a ton, in a convertible, RWD go-kart makes for a very involving drive.
Breaking traction under power in this car is very easy. I have had many quick cars in the past but this car puts the biggest smile on my face over anything else I have had to date including a modded 240bhp VX220 turbo.
Lots of modifications, most notable being a stainless decat, with sports cat provided for MOT's, RC440 injectors, Stage2 Clutch, turbo upgrade including front mount intercooler,BOV,and Link ECU mapped to 12psi keeping everything in check.
Carbon Fibre seats clad in leather, Kenwood CD, Lightweight alloys, upgraded High intensity lights, and bonet intake makes the car a real street sleeper with basically virtually stock looks. Very clean inside and out and under the bonnet.
Looking for £5000 or may PX against a TVR Chimera, Z3M, M3 convertible, 2.5L classic scoob.

A good clean bog standard Mk1 will still fetch 2.5-3K. A not so good Turbo example running just a turbo without supporting mods will fetch 3.5-4K. This example is a little bit special with the link ECU engine management, front mount, larger injectors, stage 2 clutch, and has a lot more goodies going on not just under the bonnet. It has all been fitted by the best in the business and has a folder full of receipts. I'm asking just a small premium for all of this take it of leave it. Plus price is always open to reasonable offers, and I ain't desperate to sell.

A FM2 turbo kit installed is £3395 just on its own, then you have the clutch, exhaust, downpipe, and upgraded breaks to add in addition to this. Plus Seats, Wheels, lights, suspension, and generally ones of the better and cleaner examples of a 5 you will find.

I think it looks great, and I am sure its worth £5k for what you have done for what its worth
I bet you surprise a lot of other peeps in that, especially the car snobs in their Z3/4s and S2000s.....

Cheers - It suprises most machinery. Its difficult to judge its real performance, as its perception of speed is immense.
But in amongst many other fast machinery I have owned comparing it to say my 370/370bhp 2.5l Classic scoob. It feels quicker not to say it is - just feels quicker if you know what I mean.
It even feel quicker than my previously owned non sequential RX7.
Without wishing to start a debate and probably not the best place to have this conversation but It would destroy a lightly modded Scoob. (once rolling due to wheel spin)
Only problem with the car is its bouncing off the redline in 5th at about 125mph. So this really is a point an squirt A-B road car. Or a blast down a dual carraigway car, is not a motorway muncher.

I bet it feels quicker than it is with your **** so close to the tarmac!!
258bhp/ton is pretty impressive - considering an S2000 is 192bhp/ton & a Z4M is 231
Tempted myself - I love cars that are much quicker than people think they are, excellent sleeper.
