1995 Astra Estate Turbo Diesel
I'm selling my spare car as it's no longer needed.
We acquired the car from a friend when he came to us with an engine problem. (Used to have a family run engineering company) Basically, the big ends had gone so it needed a new engine.
Because he couldn't afford to fix it, he gave us the car as payment for our inspection work. The car has had around 2500 spent on it in the last 2 years.
Details:
1995 Vauxhall Astra 1.7TD LS (GM Engine) 75bhp.
166000 miles, but only 20,000miles on the following:
New GM 1.7TD engine (complete with new head) £1100
New turbo £300
New clutch (Ferrodo) £100
New diesel Pump £400
4 New Michelin tyres £200
New Starter Motor £50
New Alternator £50
Front end rear spray £250
New front discs and pads £100
New Battery £60
And to add to that, it even has a cd player!
3 months tax, 6 months mot.
It does 40 mpg around town and near 60mpg on a run.
Havn't got any pics to hand at the moment, but it is in excellent condition.
This motor will go on for years!
I am based in Rainham, Kent (ME8) and the car can be viewed anytime.
