Having seen all the threads on Scoobynet regarding the second values of P1's if anybody is seriously looking for a P1 at a fair price my dealer has offered £22k as a trade-in against my WRX STi due end Jan. Any serious offers over this value and the car is yours.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are the Recaro seats - are they different to the Prodrive blue/grey alcantera seats?

My dealer offered me the same price but mine was bolt standard!!!
and yes every mile was great still miss it and wished i had waited for sti oh well my wrx is cool

Everyone on Scoobynet and Kevin I'll say this with the up most respect my opinion being voiced.... why would you want the new ugly STI 7 when you have a beautifully sort after rare beast of a machine which looks, out performs and daily attracts so much envious interest which combined at the very least puts a smile on my face every morning I get in my P1. So they have the same bhp the P1 has better handling and looks so so much better. In 3-4 months I am going to see loads of em.... I still to this day have only been in my car and seen 3 other P1's in 5 months.

Anyway good luck with the new motor, I am sure who ever gets your P1 will love it more than their woman..........!!

The P1 is a fantastic car, no Question, but you have to move on! The looks of the Sti are a purely personal issue, I like it + it has 4 doors keeps the wife and kids happy!

The P1 represents almost the ultimate MY00 model. The Sti is the basic future development platform for Prodrive and other after market suppliers to take the MY02 Impreza performance beyond the P1.

Analogous to a pc motherboard it has its limits before you have to upgrade!

I would say a word of caution, if the P1 is a “beautifully sort after rare beast of a machine” why have residuals plummeted? Time and technology move on.

Just my view on things.
