hi pal, no its open deck, it shud of been cdb. i paid a company called fergusson automotive engineering £1600 for v5 type-ra bottom end. after it was fitted u cud hear a rattle, took engine out again, rang company with my problem, but cud get no answer. i still havnt been able to get them..
i`ve heard these cowboys have been ripping people off all over the country.
i opened the block up to investigate the rattle, no.4 big end berring damage.
all internals are standard i think?? i noticed that three pistons had the marking hf-2 , and 1 with hf-4. can u shed any light on this??
the pistons are fine, 3 rods are fine, crank has wear on 1 journal, but have been told its scrap???

They will need drilling to the correct PCD, Godspeed can do this think it cost about £20-£30
