Thanks mate.

If anyone can sell this car for me (i.e, put it up on your noticeboards) then there's a free bok-a-track track day in it for you as an incentive (not more than £99).

18Grand! You're having a bubble mate (Southern saying!) Best offer I've had so far is 20.5k but that doesn't cover me for zero-ing the finance which is all I want to do at the end of the day (I still lose about 5 grand)

Tell you what, buy the Saab off me for 22.5k and then I'll buy your P1 for the same price ;-)

BTW Mellow, not many people like receiving cash these days due to funny money - especially on 20k+ motors. I'm a private seller and the car has been mine since March 01, I'd rather a bankers draft as I can get the bank to take it in before the buyer pics the car up.

Your right about cash....once upon a time it was attractive to make cash offers etc...now it puts people on edge methinks....ah well....still looking for a nice motor for my missus

Hey Dubbs,

Thought you were going to stick to a sensible car and all that last time we spoke.

When you get the Type R you can get my bro to teach you to take roundabouts in it

Thanks for the quote

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy!!
Sensible car is being sold as I can't take it anymore!! Anyway, the Scooby is more reliable. Added to the fact I can get a lovely Typ-r for about 14-15k means cheap, fun motoring in my book. That's before I then start tuning it... but that's easier to hide from the to-be-missus!! ;-)

Question

Just out of interest, have you tried the dealer you bought it off, surely they'd give you £22,500 if they sell them for £26k plus ??

They would and in fact offered me 21k for it at Christmas. Thing is they've got 5 SE's in and the Dealer principal won't allow any more purchases of cabrios until they've gone. Good thing is, being an Aero too, every week is closer to cabrio buying season so I might even be able to put the price back up a bit. I've not seen a secondhand Saab as good as mine as cheap - all Aero cabs hold a little more money as they're completely different to the rest of the range.
