I know its not a Subaru but some of you may fancy something different.
My 1994 rex was taken off the road about a year ago due to a water seal failure, I took the engine out myself and a friend rebuilt it for me, cost me the best part of £2000 in parts including:
2x New Rotor Housing
Water Seal Kit
Apex Seals
Apex Seal Springs
Corner Seals
Corner Seal Springs
Rear Main Seal
Front Main Seal
All Supplied by RX Motors. I have the engine and all ancillaries in my garage at the moment all fully rebuilt.
The car is a rolling shell outside my house and due to the MOT running out, having no time myself to refit the engine and therefore untaxed outside on the street it must go (especially as it was clamped by the DVLA yesterday
but thats another story as the car is too low to put on my driveway, although the fine was paid yesterday in full and the car is now unclamped again lol GRRR.
Anyway, the car itself has the following spec
Hks twin induction kit
Dragon S/S Exhaust
Both strut braces
Power FC and Commander
HKS ssq bov
Full Vielside Kit
GT Carbon wing
Carbon bonnet
Ali bonnet pins
Red undercar neons
Flamer kit
Grooved & drilled front disc's
Green stuff brake pads
D-Shaped steering wheel
Ali gear ****
Mp3 player
Kandy apple red paint
Cat 1 Alarm/immobiliser with proximity sensor
Fitted with Tracker
666 Reg mark
Matrix Shadow 18" wheels
HKS 2 bar boost gauge
Toyo T1's at the front, and T1R's at the back (brand new)
2000 spec front seats, kelver style.
With the engine dropped back in the car it should be ready to go so depending on offers Id be willing to let it go all in one piece, alternatively Id also consider breaking for parts, again depending on offers for certain parts.
I'll be in and out of this thread through the next day or 2 and see whats happening
Pics of the car before engine removal.
