subwoofer stealthbox for classic
forgot I had this, found it in loft recently when I moved house - no longer have a scoob so its got to go.
its a DIY sealed box made from 5 layers marine fibreglass with an 18mm MDF front, then covered in grey carpet to exactly match the boot space, and is shaped to fit the drivers side of a classic saloon shaped boot. The total interior volume is 20 litres, if your sub needs more you can put acoustic wadding inside to "fool" your sub into thinking its in a bigger box. The hole cutout is for a 10 inch sub AND THIS CANNOT BE ALTERED, I listen to a variety of music ranging from heavy rock to happy hardcore and the bass was always tight and not overpowering - if you need it to it can give you a real punch. My scoob was a MY95 WRX, so I'm unsure of any other fitment. As I no longer own a scoob
I can't take pictures showing it in place but please be assured it fits EXACTLY. Potential buyers are more than welcome to come along to see if it will fit but PLEASE no time wasters. Also please be aware, the speaker is NOT included as that was sold months ago.
I'm asking £25quid (plus postage) which I think is very reasonable and doesn't reflect the amount of time and effort that went into making it, a normal box is more than that from a shop and a similar box from a certain website would cost nearly 10times that. I would prefer collection, but if you need me to post it please be aware its a HEAVY item and will probably cost about 15quid. I will accept cash, postal order, bankers draft or cheque, or if I really have to, paypal to a verified UK address, and in every instance the box will be made available upon receipt of cleared funds.
