Audi A6 Avant, 2.5 Tdi SE, FSH
Audi A6 Avant 2.5 Tdi, V6 Turbo, SE model, 6 Speed Manual with New 18" RS4 Alloys.
REDUCED TO £6995. LONG-LIFE SERVICE DONE TODAY, 24th May 2008.
Immaculate, rare and sought after model. Metallic Silver. Full Service History. 163 Bhp, 310Nm torque, 140mph and 0-60 in 8.5 secs. Facelift model with multi-function steering wheel and uprated 312x25mm discs (as per 3.2 V6). The 2.5 Tdi is the one to go for according to What Car Magazine, performance and economy, great engine with ultimate reliability.
RS4 18" Alloy wheels, brand new (November 2007) with new 225/40/ZR18 tyres.
This car is on the long service interval option from new. Long life oil and filter change 24th May 2008. Next service due May 2009/2 years. Cambelt, tensioners and water pump replaced 4th May 2007, and full Schedule 2 long-life service in January 2007,with all fluids (gearbox, clutch, brake and oil) and all filters (oil, pollen, air). New discs and pads all round January 2008.
Long Tax and MOT.
Spec: Electric mirrors, all electric windows (all operated from drivers door), electric seats, dual zone climate control, Concert sound system (12 speakers and 6 CD changer), traction control (switchable), roof rails, rear boot cover, Audi dog-guard (this lifts up to roof, and rolls away into compartment when not in use - £500 option from new), electric heated front screen, ABS, Electronic Stability programme (ESP), PAS, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, computer, drivers check system and auto-check computer, chrome trim, electric headlight adjustment, front fogs, armrest, front and side airbags (passenger airbag can be switched off if you want to put a child seat there), side impact protection system, alarm and immobiliser. Loads of hidden storage compartments, armrest, 12V sockets in boot, rear and front, as well as heater vents in rear. Chrome sill plates, chrome luggage handles in boot, chrome door handles, and chrome trim. Illuminated vents, 5 cup-holders and Audi luxury mat set. Vanity mirrors with auto lighting in front, and courtesy lights everywhere.
Alarm and immobiliser, and remote opening boot, windows operated by keyfob etc.
I average 40+mpg with mainly urban driving. Motorways will see 50+mpg easily.
Currently showing 94k on the clock.
The spare (full size alloy) is unused, as is the original Pirelli P6000 on it. The Audi repair tool case is present, again unused, as is the warning triangle in the boot hatch compartment; and I have all the manuals and A6 original literature too.
Immaculate condition inside and out, and absolutely reliable. The build quality is top class. Extremely well specced, as Audi A6's are, but being the SE and with many from new options. The car is an absolute luxury, great motorway cruiser with a good turn of pace, a pleasure to drive. Lots of luggage capacity too - one of the biggest cars in it's class. All service items etc right up to date, so nothing will need doing for 1-2 years, including tyres.
One previous owner. I have owned it for 2 1/2 years in which i've done around 20k miles, and cherished it. I get the impression it will run forever, never having let me down.
First to see will buy.
Any questions please ask, and there are additional photos here: <a href="http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/2865742">www.photobox.co.uk/album/2865742|http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/2865742</a>

It's 189 g/km CO2, which makes it pretty affordable tax-wise - a few down from the top band. It's taxed until October 2008, and the MOT is until December 2008.
A different league to a golf by the way.
Drop me a PM to discuss.
