due to a **** off tax bill that ive recently got and a shop that needs refurbishing. i am selling my GTR.
there is no point me keeping a car like this, doing maybe an hour a week in it if that. i now live ten minutes from work, and commute in my little ibiza. i dont do trackdays or long motorway journeys, where this car would be at home. i'd rather sell and let someone who appreciates her have her.
heres the spec if your interested.....

NOW, HERES THE THING....
the car has been invited onto the gtr bbs' 500+ dyno day at tuning japanese. i wont be there, im working, but you will be able to see the car put through its paces, speak to the guys from dragon who built it and are taking it there for me, and generally have a good look without any pressure. this car is good, very good, and i dont need a hard sell. its bought and paid for, and im not desperate. i will NOT sell bits seperately, ive put a lotta love and money into this car.
the dyno day is saturday 26th of january at tuning japanese in aldershot.
asking price? £21995.
please, no thread hijacking, we all know soobys, gtrs and evo's are good, so lets keep it civil ok?
i WILL consider a part ex.
an sti type RA. no high milers, but colour unimportant. it will form the basis of my next project which will start sometime this year.
so guys and gals, if yer interested, contact details...
daytime...01206 575158
evenings ... leigh@cosmictattoo.com
if ive forgotten anything else, i will edit my post ok? cheers

I have to say i've had the pleasure of driving and riding (ooer matron) in this car and can honestly say its stunning.
Standard skybusses leave me cold, but this has MASSES of power, sounds like a proper car (not a hair dryer) and has bags of character.
If i had the pennies i'd be it myself.
Have also added the pics for spudgun.
If the photos don't appear here its cos my bandwidth limit has been exceeded for the day (they'll return tomorrow) but you can still see them by clicking this link and looking at the photo album directly, theres another photo thats not posted here, plus a scan of the recent dyno runs.

the only difference with this car compared to a 450 one is the clutch. it needs a twin plate to handle the power. the clutch is lighter than my seat ibizas, but has a delicate biting point. after a days use you will get used to it. if you want, u can change it to a nismo organic, but theyre not rated to handle that much power, so if u wanna do trackdays, dyno runs etc, you may get clutch slip.
the other difference is the oomph....it has true muscle, and an engine that pulls more than i have the ***** to exploit.
fuel consumption is no worse than when it was standard.
all u have to worry about , is whether to embarrass porsches or ferraris

Cheers mate, I'm sure I'd get used to the car - The power limit was set for cost reasons mainly - above 450bhp and skylines tend to be quite expensive to buy Yours is well priced.
Anyway this is the best looking white car I've every seen, and probably the only one I'd ever consider owning... And if you do want a quick sale let me and I'll bring a big bag of dosh over
Seems a shame you have to sell so soon but I fully understand the taxman pressures...

no can do russ the whole point of this is to raise some cash unfortunately. i will get just as much pleasure out of say a 96 model for example as a 99 model, and my bills will be paid.
thanks for all the compliments about the car folks, she really is a beauty.
alan zini from dragon has said hes happy to answer any queries about the car, so long as your not ringing him up to bug him how to build a 550bhp car yourself
if you want a proper look at her, especially during weekdays, for the next week or so, he'll be happy to arrange something. dragon autosport are in colchester, tel 01206 791919 . that way your not under any pressure to buy as i wont be there. this car will sell itself practically, youve never heard dump valves until youve heard hers
if anyone has any more questions in the meantime, please feel free to email.

i'd better include my mobile number too. its easier to answer quick questions this way, as i dont have internet access at work.
number is 07732 364410
if you want alan to give you a proper show round the car at tuning japanese on saturday, just send me an email, and i'll sort something out
edited to say i will consider an sti5 as part ex, but thats about as far as i can go.

well, shes off to tuning japanese in the morning for the big dyno day, apparently japanese performance mag are covering the event. should be a fantastic day, shame im working.
ive booked the car in today to get a full inspection and written apparaisal at ABBEY motorsport on wednesday 6th of february.
abbeys reputation with skylines is excellent. they dont know me, and havent worked on my car, so i will be able to provide interested parties with a non biased, independant report. i will not be selling the car until ive done this.as i say, the cars top notch, i wouldnt let it go on the rollers at tuning japanese tommorrow if i didnt think it was. i'm sure it will also come through any inspection well too.
this can be the only way you know your not buying a sh1theap, and i cant get any fairer than that eh?

she put in a STUNNING performance! on THE benchmark rollers for skylines she gave the following result..
548bhp
449 lbs /ft of torque , up 18lbs on previous figures.
when i say 548bhp is a stunning figure, you have to remember that a lot of skylines in the past have come away from there with dissapointing figures, not achieved what the owners thought they would, or detted on the rollers etc etc.they are notoriously tough rollers.she done 551bhp previously at power engineering, but today was her toughest test
she did it, and didnt even break sweat!
what a day! boro knocked man utd out of the cup, and this result...fantastic
