Cobra Evolution GT seats plus custom impreza mounts
I'm offering for sale my Cobra Evolution GT bucket seats complete with everything you need to fit them to your Impreza. The seats are the GT size (large) and so will fit the fatties as well as the thinnies. I did a lot of research before buying these seats to find the right combination of safety and weight. I believe these seats, with their very deep side support and head protection, to be among the safest that money can buy. They are FIA approved and were manufactured in July 2005. They are as new, with only fitting marks.
The seats are to be sold with matching Cobra steel side mounts. These bolt to the seats using the supplied allen bolts and washers. They are flat bottomed and so have to be adapted to fit the floor of the car. This has been done for you! I had RGS Motorsport design and fabricate custom mounting plates so the seats can be bolted, not welded, to the floor of the car. These fit the standard bolt holes that are used to attach the regular seats to the car.
Ideal for the track-prepped car, or if you're building a rally car or replica. Driving with these seats is a blast, you sit at least two inches lower in the car, and feel absolutely connected. There is a lot of play in the standard seats, they move around. These don't. Rock solid.
Please be aware that if you fit these, you'd need to make some alterations if you wanted to use standard seatbelts as they do not have the socket attached. I always used 4 point harnesses with mine, so it was not an issue.
The seats originally cost £400 each, to which I added the Cobra side mounts and the RGS custom mounts. I forget the original total but it was well over £1000. They can be yours for £600. You will have to come collect, they're far too large to post. I'm in Peterborough, 1 min from the A1.

Carlos, what material are the seats trimmed in please? Is it Alcantara as per the new Evolution S seats that seem to be the current version?
