Scoobynet can work, but so can autotrader etc (1000s of scoobys for sale at any one time). They have a saying in the trade - the first offers the best offer (so best take it even if its a bit less than you hoped for).
Remember most folk are trying to get a bargan, lots of folk end up trading in or e-bay or car auctions...
Easter is a good time to sell a car, if you do pay to advertise suggest you do it over the easter w/e.

Looks like a nice car, two owners is a big plus point. You could get dent master or similar to knock that dent out for I guess around £100 (paint work untouched, you might be amazed at how good the result is) that might increase the number of folk interested in it?

I bought mine from here, even although I had to do a 500 mile round trip to get it. If you're lucky and get a genuine enthusiast and your car appeals to them, then it will sell. Now is definitely not a good time to be selling cars like this though...

I may be wrong, but with the classic being a ' first time buyers Impreza' alot of buyers would probably look on Autotrader or similar as they may not have been intoduced to SN. Newage cars would probably sell better on hear

Have you considered cars arent selling very well currently anyway? and imprezas are selling particularly poorly at the moment?
Ive seen plenty for sale and some including yours look very nice, but they just arent selling as no one has a great deal of cash spare at the moment to invest in an "expensive" car ie not cheap to run and maintain.
Only ones i have seen sell tend to be sold at silly prices, so i personally would say unless you are willing to let it go very cheap you may be stuck with it for quite a while.

Thanks for all your help guys. Will look at changing the copy in the ad. I thought the pics were quite good though - what would you suggest to improve them?

Interior pics.
Better Location - as a minimum without other cars in the frame.
They look dated, like when you bought the car rather than the car in the condition your selling.
Just a quickie on the Ad working with what is there, less is more

UK 2Ltr Turbo
Dark Mica Blue
£5500 - all offers considered.
Please go here for photos and more details: impreza

Beautiful and capable car, lovingly looked after and in excellent Condition

You need an interior pic but for now I would just use these photos until you get some less dated looking ones.
Just my opinion having been looking at a number of cars for sale recently

i got mine from autotrader about 4 weeks ago but also had it up for sale on another scooby site , wanted 5500 for a my00 dbm classic with nearly full history , and 75 on the clock
but the silly guy made a mistake by saying he needed a quick sale as his other half was about to drop (which at first thought he was just trying it on , untill i saw her )
ending up paying 4200 for it he came down 1300 quid
as said before , change your ad and stick with it , it looks nice and well looked after so should get what you want , in another month or so when the shows start prices will be back up i would say

I reckon the pictures on your ad could do with been at better angles and not took to low form the ground, nor have the sun catching them. Have a look at how other people have done theres...

ouch!
Surprised about comment saying photos seemed to show car as it was when I bought it not now. Took them 2 weeks ago - isn't it a good thing that it still looks new? Thought the angles were quite nice and arty (and I'm a designer). I'm going to give up my day job now
