Golf GTI mk2 8v in white with 1900cc TSR engine

Sensibly modified Mk 2 Golf GTI 8V in white. Low milage - only about 10,000 miles per year - 220,000miles!!! Running with a 1.9 litre TSR engine with about 90,000 on it - so just run in! Car was fitted with G60 brakes and bottom suspension arms (bigger and better than GTI ones), Eibach anti-roll bars front and rear, front strut brace. Koni suspension all round with adjustable front dampers, polly-bushed all round, full stainless steel Seibring exhaust system with twin exit rear box. New grill and cross hair front lights, smoked indicators, 16V rear lights, Euro spec. bumpers and I'm sure lots more besides.........
The car has been off the road for 4 months.
The car does need a little TLC to bring it back up to it's former glory. The exhaust manifold has a slight leak and needs to be replaced with the one supplied, slight attention required to the gearbox (drives okay though) as has just been fitted and not setup properly. There are a few scuffs to the body, nothing major just the usuall dings and dents for a 22 year old car. Drivers door has a small dent courtesy of some car park moron. There is no major rust, just a few blemishes here and there, shouldn't need any welding for the next MOT.
This is a very quick car for a Golf and would make a fantasic track car for someone with the time to spend on it. All the right bits are already fitted and a few hours fettling would pay dividends.
The car is declared SORN at the moment as my friend can't drive due to his bad leg.
