Cheers - Very overlooked car IMO. Very solid and well screwed together cars, that handle really well and still 4wd. Also a little bit different to all the scoobs you see on the roads these days

With a bigger Garret turbo and a remap this car could be taken to over 400bhp. But at the moment its anywhere between 320 - 380 but a better road car for it.

Thanks m8, the asking price doesn't even cover the cost of the mods, as you probably know.

To name but a few

Bottom engine Engine build circa £5000
HKS cams and gears circa £500
Exhaust £750
Stage 2 Turbo £1000
Sards £500
Aquamist £350
Apexi, AVCR and mapping - Over £1000

I could probably list at least another 5K of mods without even trying.

Save yourself a fortune and buy a well spec GT4 already done

For the spec Rob, that is a bargain, I got £5500 for mine and it was near that spec. Only reason I can think its not selling is because its a Subaru site? Is it on GT4OC and GT4EC?

Can't post on GT4OC as not member, and can't sign up on GT4OC due to an admin problem with Ebay at the moment. But might try my luck with ebay and try a bit harder with all the other forums when I get back from le-man. But in the meantime I'm not that bothered either way.

If I were being sensible I should run this for a few years, as it should almost be free motoring, with just aout every mechanical part being new, and the car is almost depreciation proof now. But sadly I get bored of cars very quickly and this is another one thats been great but it has to go.

Right.. Now I have got to the the point the car is now properly sorted its back up for sale. In the last 2 weeks I have spent £1000 getting it right and now pulling the power it always should have been pulling.

Recently just had a Aussie 3" Mid section pipe fitted, and HKS cam gears removed in favour of stock cam gears and timmed in correctly. Also had a stud extracted and replaced, and a fresh new MOT on the car. The net result is the car is now bonkers quick.

Before this work It recently dynoed on the rollers at 300bhp, which was well under what it should be running. I soon after done a datalogit run and got the same power figure.

After the work done, I done another datalogit run and got 430bhp, and its now pulling slightly more boost. Its not been back on the rollers yet but using the above and benchmnarking it against even the quickest cars I have had I would be happy to claim this car as a proper circa 400bhp car.

Only thing remaining on the car...and thats me be picky, is it needs an aftermarket DV now as I don't think the stock one is up to the job, which will probably be sorted by the time it sells.

Make no mistake this car is proper quick, and just came back from le-man in it, and had several tussles with my mates E46 M3's. 3rd gear plant and the
GT4 was pulling away and gained about a car length before i then snatched
4th and the GT4 left the M3 for dead.

2nd gear plants and it destroyed the M3's.

I also pitched against my brothers 500+bhp /550ft/lb. 911 turbo and there was very little in it.

My only ciritism of the car, which is one of the reasons its up for sale, is it still feels a little laggy, and does suffer piston slap when cold. And the front lip does now have a good few stone chipsl. But might end end up painting this again before much longer.

NOT that I am looking to break the car, but just for my curiosity I done a list of parts with what I feel are conservative second hand prices.

CT20b Stage2. £300
Forger DV £45
Apexi Intake £50

Aquamist £200
Alloy tank (Aqua) £125
Wheels/tyres £500
Cusco Front Brace £50
