I've got an early 'Type RA' EJ20 CLOSED DECK BLOCK for sale. I bought it only recently as the basis for a 2.0 forged build, but after stripping it down I found that #3 cylinder liner has turned very slightly, although there seems to be no damage to the deck on top or the cradle underneath. EIther it was cast like this at the factory, or it moved in service. It has the under piston oil sprays, and apart from the weird liner, is in great condition. As I have another block I can use for my build, I'm selling this one on.
I've bolted it back together hand-tight ready for shipping out, all crankcase bolts and access plugs are fitted and included. This is just the bare crankcase halves, i.e. no crank, rods, pistons etc.
I've heard these CDBs can be resleeved to 2.2, 2.33 etc, so it'd be a good buy for someone who wanted to do that, or give it a go as a 2.0.
PM me if you're interested. I can email pictures etc, but most of them are on my project thread anyway. I also listed it last night on a well known auction site, just look for 'closed deck block'.
Cheers!
