Maybe I'm mad, the only offers I've had have been around £14K.
I checked CAP price (expected value at auction)- they reckon £18,400. Parkers = £20,195 for Good (i.e. non dealer). Glass's = £18,200 for Trade.
Am I mad?
Nick

It is VERY annoying but the 2nd hand car market has fallen through the floor. 14K seems a bit cheap but not too bad. I've seen MY98's go for around 9-10K now ?!?!
Personally it seems so cutthroat here now it may be best to try autotrader or top marques...

Sorry mate you're not mad its just the trade books can't keep up with the rate cars are falling. I have a MY97 and will lose loads on that when I sell. Also a new WRX is only £17495 brand new ( motorpoint) that has affected Scooby prices as well.

A spoke to a dealer and they would probably sell that for 18k so hold out for at least 17k.
You have one of the best Impreza's out there and they hold the value.
Also the dealer offered me an extra 2k for mine since Burnsie won the championship!
Go and speak to a sensible dealer and don't let them take the ****.
Good Luck... oh, car sounds mint!!

Remember all these prices are only guides, its what someone will pay for the car that matters.
As stated before scoobs have been hit hard especially now the new model is out and they aint as desirable as they used to be.
I remember being told just a few years ago when i went for a new turbo scoob 6 months waiting list!! and i'm afraid the dealers dont say that now for a standard WRX.
Its a case of bitting the bullet mate i know this dont help but your on top again !!

Not sure whether to sell it now, never wanted to but i need the cash, going to try autotrader, there may be a mug out there.
I'm also selling my 1972 Porsche 911T Targa (the car i wanted from age 10 - it took me a year to find it). £15K
Anyway, you want to see pics of them, follow the link. (warning 500K)

If i sell them both I'll be left with an 88 Peugeot 205 xl which cost £100 (sorry no pics available).
None of this would be happening if I could get some business in, so if you want a website, let me know. You may just save my cars.
cheers
