EVO 6 SWAP/PART EX FOR STI OR STI TYPE R
I am selling my beloved UK supplied Mitsubishi Evo VI GSR in icelle blue.
- 56,000 miles
- Customer Protect, 4 months gold warranty remaining.
- It has full main dealer service history. 13 stamps in total.
- I have all of the original receipts including the original sales brochure and receipt of purchase.
- I have all of the history regarding this car including MOTS and tax discs since registration.
- It has had a new clutch fitted, wheel bearing and ayc pump.
- It has a cat 1 alarm with remote engine start.
- The cambelt, pullies and belts were changed at 43,000 miles.
- Mods include greddy panel filter, full stainless steel jasmin exhaust with decat and a samco silicone induction hose kit fitted. (comes with original cat for mot purposes.)
- Two owners from new.
- 6 MONTHS CAR TAX and mot till the end of august.
- Usual Evo spec i.e Digital Climate Control, Electric windows, Electric folding mirrors etc
Th car is in excellent condition, it has been well looked after and always run on V-Power.
***** You will not be disappointed *****

Yes mate forgot to put that on the add. its on pistonheads for 10,300. selling for cash would be nice. but swapping does cut out all the hassle with buying and selling sometimes. Was looking for one with an engine rebuild already done,if its an import and not if its a uk. As i had two imports before. Engines went on both cars.
So just piece of mind.

well i had a wrx tuned up and a sti type r v limited.
The evo handles alot better than both of these put together. The braking with the brembos is very sharp. But what the evo lacks is the short ratio of the type r. seems like you need to stay in the gears longer,or changing down 1 gear to build up the revs. full boost about 3600. the acceleration in fifth gear is slower than the type r. But more reliable than the subarus as well, not many engines go on these.
Basicly the evo handles better, brakes better, a very smooth ride. Good long journey cruiser as well as a rally monster. But there is something about the subaru i like. The noise it makes probably. I think im just addicted to subarus.

just so people know. this aint in the high tax band, like some imort evos. because this is registered in the uk from new, it dont qualify. the evos that are registered in the uk after 2001 will be double what i pay, and will cost £420 instead of £220

i think this new price has to be the very lowest it can go. otherwise i will be doing myself out of pocket and will have to keep it if it goes any lower than this price... £9650
