I'm the same clarkie. Just swapped the cat in the centre section and am led to believe this is the only other cat, yet also hear there are 3???

Also, if anyone can help, in swapping this cat in the downpipe, are there maf sensor complications? Which will eventually lead to a remap? Or is it straight problem free swap?

Thanks guys, bet there are a few folk unsure about this.. or maybe just me!?

Cheers, Mike.

I thought that there were three cats on a newage including one in the downpipe, but you only need two to get through the MOT? So it goes this downpipe to cat 1 pipe, then to centre section which has a cat then to back box. So, 4 pieces in all for newage exhaust, downpipe, cat pipe, center section (with cat) and backbox

Don't take my word for it though!

Im pretty sure its Cat in uppipe, Cat in downpipe, Centre Cat, centre section is just resonator box then silencer.

And im pretty sure you can get rid of 2 and still pass MOT
