2.5 WRX Type RA for sale
Unfortunately, due to my impending house move my Classic RA is going up for sale.
Car is a 1995 WRX Type RA (not an STI but with the current spec it's a little bit special compared to an STI
)
All work carried out to the car was by Perfect Touch in Hoddesdon by the previous owner who'd owned the car since it was imported in around 2000. I'm the 2nd owner in the uk.
The speedo is showing 109,000 but I beleive that the majority of this is in KM, the car was converted into mph when the engine conversion was done. I'm told by the previous owner that this was only about 5k ago but he'd lost the receipts for the engine build. I wasn't bothered about this when I bought the car as I spoke to Perfect Touch and they confirmed all the work that had been done. They will be able to print out duplicate invoices for all work they did to the car. I'm hoping to have all the paperwork for this shortly, at present I only have the log book and a few old MOTS plus the last major service bill. Current MOT runs out this month but a new MOT will be done before the car is sold.

2.5 engine (I'm waiting for full spec but I'm told it had forged internals)
Large front mount intercooler with hard pipe kit
TDO5 18g turbo
Apexi Power FC (mapped by Tweenierob at Perfect Touch)
Oil Catch Tank
HKS Boost Controller
Uprated Fuel Pump
Uprated Injectors (not sure on size but will find out from PT)
H&R Coilover Kit
Large Air Filter Kit
Brembo big brake conversion
Speedline 17" anthracite alloys
HKS Boost and Temp Guages (temp guage has power but isn't connected - I assume it only needs a temp sensor for either oil or water)
Momo Steering Wheel
Newage STI JDM 6 speed gear box (superb conversion, no more 5k revs at 70mph on motorway as with standard 5 speed ra boxes !!)
Genuine STI Carbon Fibre Strut Brace
Genuine STI Rear Lights
Genuine STI Fog Covers
New Radiator (2008)
Kenwood CD player with uprated speakers
Probably loads of stuff I've missed, will add more as I remember.
The car had a full service by Perfect Touch including all fluids/oils less than 400 miles ago including Front Pads so is ready to drive away.
There's a few tiny surface rust spots on top of bootlid and front wheel arch, bonnet has usual stone chips at the front but for a 13 year old car it's in good condition.
Car is mapped to 1.4-1.5 bar running approx 370 bhp but more importantly over 400 lb ft torque, 418 if memory serves, will ask PT to print the dyno graph off also. The acceleration in this car is amazing and if you haven't driven a 2.5 classic you're in for a serious treat. The car was as quick if not quicker than my 500bhp R34 GTR to 100mph.
Car will be at North Weald tomorrow for the test and tune day.

Popped into perfect touch yesterday, they've got in excess of £15,000 worth or receipts for work done to the car !!! It's on their old computer system but they're trying to work out a way to print it off for me.
If anyone wants to inspect the car I'd be happy to meet them at perfect touch where rob/claudio can answer any questions about the build/spec. If you're not familiar with Perfect Touch they are a well respected tuner (
predominantly in the skyline world).
This has got to to be one of the cheapest 2.5 classic scoobys on the market at the moment.
