Unhappy

Red with Black roof, retro look including Group 2 arches, driving lights overiders and corner bars, chrome roof aerial, wavy grille, genuine Mk1 bootlid and genuine cooper twin tanks. Clear light clusters, indicators and halogen headlights. Top tint windscreen
Engine built and serviced by Minispeed of Byfleet. 1400, Specification includes; Stage 4 unleaded head, 286 cam, Weber 45 DCOE’s, vernier belt drive timing, special pistons, hi-lift roller rockers and is fully balanced, showed 125bhp on dyno. Jack Knight straight cut 5-spd gearbox including drop gears (gearbox freshly rebuilt). AP Racing clutch. Maniflow LCB and Playmini exhaust. Suspension fully uprated and adjustable for height and camber.
Interior. Genuine Monte Carlo special edition interior, full John Cooper alloy acessories including signed steering wheel. Walnut dash and door cappings. White dials including additional clock, oil pressure and volts. Saftey Devices rear cage.
Completed 1998 Mini Monte 2 event to Monte Carlo and still has entry stickers.

Would make an excellent track day car either as it is or stripped out.

MiniSpeed valued it for sale at £6000 but I am asking £4500 (or make me an offer) as I need the space.

Feel free to ask me any questions

Oh yes and I forgot to mention (in case it isn't obvious) the car comes with a folder full of invoices etc.,..

Hi Floyd,

The car was built up using (almost) all new parts in 97/98. The engine and gearbox was installed in December '98 and and has covered approximately 10,000 miles since. The gearbox has been freshly rebuilt due to a faulty bearing and has covered only around 100 miles since. There is no warranty on the engine but I would welcome any inspection and I am sure if you are interested MiniSpeed would do a report on the car. The car is registered 91 'H'.

As I am sure you will appreciate the price I am asking is a fraction of what it would cost to build a car like this.

Cheers

Robin

Come on guys!

This car sounds amazing (Another Scooby owning friend tells me he can hear this car when I am following him and he has a SS mid section and backbox!) , is completely loony to drive - someone must know someone who would like to take it off my hands.

I am open to offers from genuine buyers
