Why have you bought a large go-kart?

£8250 buys one of the best hill climbing imprezas in the UK

Good luck with the sale, shame you won't be around on here.

Good luck with the sale. Again, this is a brilliant car and has all the right mods already in place.

PS thanks for the help with the dccd. Mine is now working a treat!!

Car has a quick rack to get you through the bends...

Nice fast safe handling car.

Got one person interested already, possibly a second.

Fab on the road, focused on a track.

Hi Graham,

Nice new car!

What coilovers does it have now? IRRC the compression/rebound ASTs belonged to Powerstation as part of a sponsorship deal? And if that's a standard 5 speed, is it not on borrowed time given that it's subjected to sprint launches with 370bhp?

cheers
Andy

Have a 'return' deal with Powerstation (cash back) so car has the 3 ways.
Stock 754 Type R trans, been good for over a 100 full-bore 6000 rpm starts on hillclimb slicks.
Still perfect.

I am a nice steady driver though. Just ask Rob!

Now, what else for your £8250?

Type R gearbox, the strong one with 754 case. The box was opened and checked by API about 18 months ago and is rudely healthy.
It is connected to the engine via an AP Organic clutch.

While the gearbox was sorted, I installed a plated Subaru rear diff, set-up by API.

Seems nobody (on here) is after a fast Impreza.

Seems some one thinks it is.
I hope to meet and show the car to someone on tuesday evening!

I can add a giant list of suspension parts:

AST 3 way fully adjustable (and currently set right) dampers and springs. Good on the road, killa on the track. No jarring of fillings , simply a compliante suspension ride and control.
These are specially match by Powerstation as a development package with them 3 years ago. Jusy 300 mile old. (never used in the winter)

Be quick or it might be gone.

It has the obvious 22mm front and the 24mm rear with steel links and with the rear mounts braced.
It has Whiteline front/lower alloy brace, and..

Surely one of you out there understands this is a very strong car?

The Lola will be a blast (when done!)
Lots to do to it.

As you say, a very fast car and dead easy to drive very quickly after all I've out into it! (5 years and about £20K)

Obviously a busy weekend selling on Snet!

Had a serious interest today at the races.
Looks like the car will sell to a competitor?

Hillclimber coming to see the car this week.
He knows the car very well, so maybe it will be gone soon.

Last year the car in my 'mature' hands hit 57 seconds at Loton Park hillclimb, and that time today would have netted a third in class against some serious cars.

Such a lot of car, so much blood sweat and tears!

Interestingly, everyone wants the suspension, yet several on here say it's weak and Exetecs are so so much better...
If so, why do people want the AST's?

Killer car, so very fast and balanced, but gone soon?
