UNFORTUNATLEY MY MY99 UK IMPREZA TURBO IS FOR SALE - P/X
ive tried long enough to hold onto her but im really struggling now, so im putting her up for sale.
right, many on here know of it, its a my99 (t-plate) uk impreza turbo.
has done 140,000 miles BUT, had an engine rebuild @ 70,000 due to a failed turbo oil pump. this was done under warranty i believe and i have £4000+ worth of reciepts from a main delaer to prove this. done in 2002.
the car had a new gearbox as recently as january 08 at then 135,000 miles. this was the original gearbox from new, so the one in her now will go on for god knows how long at the same time i had a major service done inc an uprated clutch. car pulls beautifully now.
also last year around july i had a full suspension overhaul. the set up now comprises of agx kyb gas adjustable shocks, eibach lowering springs and whiteline f/r droplinks. the stiffness is adjustable not the height.
the engine has had no modifications apart from a bailey vta bov, which is going to be a forge one in the next couple of days. scoobs got a 3" turbo back decat (blitz nur spec-r), and the noise is incredible.
has genuine prodrive oz-racing p1 alloy wheels (17"), which were refurbed just over a year ago. again these are in excellent condition, only one or two small marks - see pics below.
the car has an sti6 spoiler - only a couple chips of the paint (will include a little pot of subaru 559 red paint in the sale), along with some performance creation mudflaps in black/silver logo.
interior wise she has an newish jvc headunit and uprated alpine speakers front and rear. slight wear to the drivers seat, but no rips or tears.
considering the mileage, the body work is in excellent condition, indeed some may know the car had lots of spray work done last year after someone pulled out into me and scraped down the drivers side. car wasnt written off or anything, quite minor damage, ie new wing and front door. welcome to do a hpi check on her any time
regularly washed/polished/waxed, i really have been silly **** with this car. i would highly recommend coming to view it and any checks are welcome - i have nothing to hide. only cosmetic change is the sti rear lights have gone, to be replaced with standard red/orange ones.
admitedly the car has high miles, but i would like to think that most who know something about these will appreciate the gearbox/engine/suspension are the three main areas of wear and tear and all have been rebuilt/replaced, making this easily driveable for 1000's of miles, in comparison to cars this age with 100-120k original engine/gearbox etc etc. the previous two owners to me are also members on here "donny_daz" and "magic40" before him.
considering the above im pricing her to sell. offers around £3000-3500 which i think is fair considering everything done. car only needs a remap and its 270-280bhp. also shes taxed until end of september 08 and has m.o.t. until november 7th 08.
i will also consider p/x with a hot hatch, something fun upto around £1500 and cash my way.
pics...
just to add the sti rears are gone now and original red/orange lights are back on.

Dont suppose you want to swap your sti rears for mine plus cash your way???
Good luck with sale mate

I'm gutted for you Andy, having to sell up. At that price someone's going to bag a bargain too.

I currently have my Yaris for sale (it's very economical Choc ), and should it sell for around my asking price I'll be very interested. That's if you don't sell yours before the Yaris anyhow's!!
What is the pig on the mirrors? I've seen it loads and can't remember whos logo it is!!
