4 x Bridgestone RE070 tyres for sale.
Hi all,
As per the title, I'm changing my tyres when the local tyre dealers get some Ultrac Sessantas in stock (next few days).
I'm only changing because I'm after something a bit softer and not quite so focussed and extreme (i.e. I'm clearly getting too old for this game).
The RE070's coming off were the standard fitment to my '07 STI, so are 225/45/17.
I've not done any trackdays on them (bar a wet weather driving course on the correct surfaces) and they certainly have life left in them as they've only covered 9600 miles. I'm not too sure as I type this how many mm are left, but I'd say the fronts are a good 1-2mm ABOVE the wear indicator, so I believe there should be around 4-5mm tread left. I will need to verify this tomorrow.
I think £20 a corner would be a fair price to ask for some summer track days on proper rubber.
Ideally collection only, but will travel a radius of 30 miles-ish from Dover to meet you to collect them, as I realise Dover is right at the end of the map, just before the blue bit.
If you'd like some pics, I'll crawl under the car and take them tomorrow.
Cheers,
Nige.

They should be good for another 5-6000 miles if mine are anything to go by. I'm at 16000 miles now and still on original tyres. Probably renew em this year, so a bargain for someone IMHO. Think they are around £100 a corner new.

Mikkel will be about right there.
I'll be home this evening and will try to take pics and some sort of measurement of tread depth for any interested parties.
2000Sport has first dibs.

Ok, as it stands, first option to 2000Sport, second to Gonzo...
Here are some pics. Too many to post, so a link to the photobucket album I created:
v8voodoo/Subaru/RE070 pics - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Edited to add that there's no hidden damage or any punctures that I know of. The tyres hold pressure just fine and have never been kerbed. I'll fully inspect them as soon as they're off.
