Deciding to sell as a car i'm really keen on has come up for sale. If, however, it sells before i raise the required money (through selling this car), then this will be taken off the market, hence the low price i am asking.

Car is a 97/98 "R" (pre face lift) UK Impreza Turbo 2000 just coming up to 68K miles, and has all but one stamp in its service history. Car was last serviced about 6 months ago (£380). It is Dark Mica Blue in colour.

Car is standard except for a "Racebox" back box (nice sound without being too loud), and a centre decat. I also have a ninja sports cat downpipe that i only bought the other day (as you can tell, still thinking about keeping the car) which has not been fitted but could be sold with the car for an additional £150. Car also has front braided lines fitted. I will supply the rears too, but i could not get the old ones off! I also upgraded the bulbs in the headlamps, and replaced the sides with clear white ones. I would recommend this mod to anyone.

Car also has factory fitted leather seats and prodrive 17" alloys, as well as prodrive short shifter.

I still have the origional exhaust and centre cat / resonator thing.

First, the bad bits (come back come back, its not too bad) -

There is a scuff on the front bumper. Close up it is clear it has taken the paint in a few areas, but it is so low down it really is barely noticeable if you are not looking for it.

There is considerable wear to the leather on the drivers seat and to the steering wheel. The rest of the interior is very tidy however.

I think the rocker gasket might need changing on the drivers side at some point, as sometimes you can smell oil after a drive. It is not loosing ANY oil on the dipstick however, and its questionable if it warrants doing.

Wheels have some kerbing. Still look nice though!

Good bits

Car is mechanically excellent, never fails to start, no smoke from the exhaust, no hesitance on boost etc. Does not lose any oil, coolant etc.

Car is always warmed up and cooled down correctly. Always ran on V Power.

Rear shocks changed 2 weeks ago as one was leaking (standard shocks and springs).

General paintwork very good, polishes up nicely.

Aircon regassed about 9 months ago

I am the 4th owner.

Car will have 12 months MOT (existing MOT expires in mid July). Tax expires end of July.
