DONT ENCOURAGE HIM
We are discussing the next purchase at the moment - bl00dy man wants another scoob. I was thinking something a bit more refined - we'll see who wins

I'll know when I get a firm delivery date on two STI7's, a cancellation has come up on one, which we should be able to take over, and this will be about 3 weeks.....

I had intended to contact you about the HID's - realised after I test drove the STi that it would probably take the HID's, and Pete confirms it, so guess where they are going - sorry

Re pimp tints, done by SecurFix - excellent job - Dr Evil has their contact details - drop Alex a mail

LOL - the vultures are circling....

Thought about taking the Leda off, but the cars are more saleable with it on. Besides, the STi's only need some lower springs...Oooh, are Prodrive developing some, what a surprise!

So how much have you actually lost on these two cars?

LOL

Should buy something that doesn't depreciate so quickly, like an Evo

Dave I'm still considering Prodrive version but waiting till Qtr 2 when ppp is available, who cares about the money lost (GULP) I'll have to do more overtime.........rob a bank............pimp the other half...........

And of course I can salvage some bits from my car, but new is better...

Phil, one of my new year's resolution was to be tighter with my money......

Yes. The WRX as standard is a Forester on stilts, the Eibachs lower it, but the STi ride height is already lower than the std WRX, and I believe the plan is to lower it further ( i.e. comparison lowered Eibach WRX compared to STi).

Also the STi is heavier than the WRX (6 speed box for one thing) and I believe the plan is to stiffen the new springs a touch.

They are still in development and all could change by the time they are signed off of course....

Rik
Define "lost". Everyone on here knows my views on this. I don't subscribe to the preoccupation by many people on here as to what their car has cost. You will NEVER see me posting "oh, woe is me, I bought a car and it has depreciated "X" or "Y".

We buy them, do whatever mods we fancy, enjoy the admiring comments from many people, and if something nicer comes along, go and buy that, have more fun, enjoy life, and look to the future.

If I had wanted an Evo, i'd be driving one......

If we were at all bothered at how much we have spent on cars over the last few years I would run £250 bangers and throw them away at MOT time......
