Don't think you are taking the P155 - car not worth alot, but thought I would pitch high and see what offers* I get.
I might take you up on *yours, as I need shot of it to make room for my new
Mercedes C220 CDi.
Vectra was a "stop gap" for a couple of weeks, but I have just had to replace the fuel tank (£371) - damnation.
I may be in touch

Andy I make take the offer of £1,200 - but for a few days no harm in pitching a higher price - I can always reduce at the beginning of next week.
£1,995 was a guestimate as only a couple of SRis with less than 80,000 miles are on the Autotrader with this car's spec.
Don't want to hold onto the car so it may have to go - but I would like to recuperate some of the cost the new fuel tank has cost me (yesterday).
Mind you current economic gloom means cars will be difficult to shift.
Need the space at home as with the STi RA, my wife's SLK, and new C220arriving on Monday - it will be tight to get a parking space.
Wish I hadn't bought the Vectra - hindsight is a wonderful thing................

It's a heck of a lot of car for £1500 let alone £1200 , i'd say you're right to aim high then the buyer can always chip a bit off.
Shame about paying out for the fuel tank too but it's a good selling point and shows the car has been looked after.
Good luck with the sale

I've dropped the price on Autotrader and Pistonheads to a more realistic offers around £1,650.
