you may buddy

Its a case of removing headlights from car, bakeing them in the oven until they will come apart, paint the inner chrome parts of the headlight and put back together

not for the faint of heart this mod

cheers for the kind words guys

I dont "NEED" to sell the car, finances etc are not an issue,i just cannot get the best out of what is simply the greatest car i have ever owned, its been driven twice in the past 2 1/2 weeks.for about 5 minutes each outing

Have been quite ill recently, and no real sign of shaking it off so a decition was made with the family to offer the car up for sale, get the monie's into a "safe" location and look at coming back to the fold next year with something rather special (s204/spec c type R-AR)etc etc

so anyhow

Up for grabs, but the price will not be falling to £12-£13 grand,as im simply not desperate to sell

cheers marcus

Hi Mark,

not been on here for a while so hadn't seen your post. Have you considered advertising it on Pistonheads too?

This is a cracking car that has been very well looked after by a bufty. Good luck with the sale, get well soon and look forward to seeing your next purchase when the time is right.

Thumbs up

Stunning car fella. I notice that at the show your car had a red outline to the centre grill - where did you get that from?

Good luck with the sale, although i'm sure you won't need it!

hi buddy

yeah the sti spec R-AR grill mod can be done very easily with some "pin stripe" vinyl that can be bought from halfords, there is a thread here with a how too guide

Type RA-R Red Grill Trim, DIY for $5 - NASIOC

best way is to use a hairdryer and "nead" the vinyl around the corners etc, practice makes perfect

Good on you for holding the price. Hawkeye STIs are now going for £14-£15k which is a disgrace IMHO. If only all owners would hold their prices...

Lovely car so I'm sure it will go to a good home eventually

I like the rear lights too, the hawkeye rear lights are the worst part of the car IMHO.

love it

hope you don't mind me asking though - how on earth did it win an award for the best 'standard' scoob ?? Does 'standard' just mean no engine mods or what?

excuse my ignorance, didn't go to the show

beautiful car though, good luck with the sale
