IHI VF hybrid
Ladies and gents I have for sale the turbo that was on my car, it's a little bit hard to identify because it has different internals and the serial number has been removed.
It is a front entry turbo but i used it on my classic without moving the manifold around etc. What I can tell you is it recoder 340hp and similat trq on rr at weltmeister @ silverstone. It starts to make positve boost at 2,5000 rpm and a good bar by 3,000 rpm and max at 3300-3500 rpm. I ran it with 550cc injectors and to be honest I think you could use 440cc as the 550cc were overkill really!
The only negaative is the intake wheel has some wear on the blades but there is no play in the shaft and it was working perfectly when it was removed from the car. I have taken a couple of pic's, as you can see it needs a clean! I have tried to take a decent picture but this is the best i can do, open to offers as usuall!
This is just the right size to fit a classic that is running a side entry turbo and the manifold in the standard place, this is the setup i used on mine but ran a 90 degree samco, I will throw in a new samco hose as well so it will be plug and play!
