I am well chuffed with mine as I use it as a dedicated monitor for my track video and Archos.

will this work with a dvd head unit, i.e does it have the 3 phono jacks red,white and yellow??

No it doenst have those inputs in afraid I know andy above uses it for something smilar though, maybe with an adaptor?
