You might want to check these mate......... I have recently got myself a 2004 STI and experienced knocking from the rear of the car.
When taking a further look at things I could see the side of the drop link had been hitting the ARB and the mounting bracket.
After asking around on here and subsequently receiving an e-mail from someone actually at Whiteline I was informed that these solid drop links are in fact not for a 2004 STI (if the mounting point is on top of the bottom arm)....
See my pics here - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...riversside.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...sengerside.jpg
This is part of the e-mail I was sent:
The problem you have is due to the incorrect drop link being fitted, on a 04 STI the rear drop link should be straight and not the c-shaped one as fitted.
The correct part number for the link required is KLC047 http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/ins...303_KLC047.pdf
If the mounting point on yours is not on top of the bottom arm then you might be ok and you can probably ignore me, just thought I would mention it before you fit them/pay to have them fiitted only to discover they are the wrong part.
All the best.
