My guess is that like mine the car has not been rated for CO2 on the log book because its an import. In which case its classed like a 'normal' 2 litre car.

Mine is also an import as Spec C's obviously are but i have a CO2 reading on the log book, how come this is??

The DVLA gave me the option to have it CO2 based but it was going to cost extra and take longer to get the car on the road so i just left it, i'm glad i did now

I called the DVLA and asked them about the difference in tax price and they said that mine was registered after the cut off date for the change in regulations, so even though it's the same year as Daves, i get stung with the higher tax bracket
Yours will change next year in price but still won't be as much until 2010
