FS: Deadbolt SZ55 Fatboy 8cm2 turbo
I got a Deadbolt SZ55 Fatboy turbo for sale. Were checked by Deadbolt prior to me getting it, and haven`t been used since. Selling because I`m considering going other ways with turbo(s)
Recently bought a new 3" compressor cover, and a 8cm2 turbine housing. Turbo measurements are 56.6\75mm compressor and 65\56.6mm turbine. Literally the same size compressor as a gt3076r with a little bit larger and more efficient turbine for better power up top!
750£ plus postage.
Tommy

I used to have that turbo's smaller brother on my old 2.5 and that was a STOMRER of a turbo.
Compared to a 20G, that gave about a 10% increase in power and this being even larger should be good for 470-480hp i reckon.
Good luck with the sale fella.

Are everyone blinded by the MD-bug or what?
This turbo vs a 49lb\min with a TD06H turbine on the same dyno with the same tuner, and same turbo company. Faster spoolup and more midrange and topend with a bigger compressor!
Full torque from 3500rpm on the dyno!

Thanks mate
Just to add, the dyno sheet is in whp and not bhp, and it`s on a EJ257 at 1.5bar approx. Should be good for 480bhp on pump without problems. A cheaper alternative to a MD321T.

The dyno sheets says it all.
SZ55 Fatboy vs APS SR55 Ballbearing turbo. SZ55 walks all over the APS turbo. Again, same tuner, same dyno, near equal setup with EJ257 etc.

yep, standard position and external waste gate...I'd snap this up if I'd got my built block sorted

Bolt on yes. Would need TGV deletes though if you have TGV`s. You`d also need to get the wastegate though, as it set up to be EWG. But a actuator for a TD06H isn`t particularly expensive.

Tumble generator valves, which are on newer models, to improve MPG and cold start etc.
EWG is external wastegate yes. Not difficult to put a internal wastegate on it though.
