Looking to buy another scoob so I have to get rid of daily runner first.
I bought this car a year ago for the mrs, but then she got another job that had a 50mile a day commute, so we ended up getting her a little diesel instead.
I had just sold my scoob, so I kept the focus as my daily mode of transport. I have been using this car for a year now and apart from needing a new set of HT leads, it has never let me down.
89000 miles
Light green
In the last 12 months (8000 miles) it has had:
2 new front tyres
HT leads
Oil + filter change
Air filter
Plugs
It has:
Aircon
CD Player
2 air bags
Alloys
Front electric windows
The body work is immaculate. Honestly, there are no scratches, scuffs, dents or marks. It gets washed every 2 weeks as I only do around 800 miles a month. The interior is also in excellent condition with no burns or tears.
The engine and gearbox are excellent with no nasty bangs or knocking noises. Engine pulls strongly and returns around 35mpg around town and over 40mpg on a run.
This isn't your average condition focus, it is mint and nothing needs doing.
It has 8 months MOT and 9 months tax.
Looking for around £3000.
Will get some pictures up at the weekend.
I'm located in Sittingbourne, Kent and can be contacted on 07920529332.

It is a 1999. I am open to offers.
The average price for these is around 2.5K, so 3K for a mint one isn't actually that bad. Do you have any other words of wisdom?

Vauxhall Glass quote for your car (assumed Ghia on a V) is £1470 excellent and £1295 average.
Apologies if my figs are totally wrong, but I was looking for a car like this for my Impreza. Based on your £3k valuation I'll do a swap for mine based on my valuation of 7k

Ford Focus for Sale
I guess these are all over priced?
I thought webby had made it clear that if you just going to argue the price, don't bother posting.

I'm not just arguing over price. You've asked for offers and I've made you a genuine one ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
You also asked for my wisdom on the matter![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Don't understand your link to Pistonheads showing newer cars priced well under £3k

I don't have 7K to spend on a scooby, but thanks for then offer.
Cars that are of this age are priced far more on condition than what the glass guide says.
The same guide said that my old integra was worth 2.5K, I sold it for £6500. My old scooby was valued at 3.5k and I sold it for £6900. So forgive me if I disregard whatever that guide says.
I am not interested in a part exchange either.

Granted, but we're talking about a bog standard Focus here, not some notoriously difficult to price sports car.
Good luck with the sale

I'm not sure where people like you get off deliberately attempting to sabotage someone's sale. But I frankly find it pathetic, and childish.
