Cool

Just had the Neo 4 fitted to my viii PS2 . It's rather good.... No swap tricks for backup PS2 games and Ps2 now multiregion and NO GREEN screen with a proper SCART.

Worth the outlay if you can get it done.

Thumbs up

A friend in work has a 'friend' in Bristol who can do it.

The outlay is £100 but it's a hell of a job (29 wires to solder!). It takes a couple of hours.

Backup games cost £5 each (1 disc) so it pays for itself double quick.

I believe the NEO 4 will only work with certain versions of UK PS2. if you look at the model number of your PS2.... it begins SC then the first number is the version. It works with versions 3 and 4. version 5 is a different circuit board that requires no soldering but some of the fuctionality may require the disc swap trick (not too sure !)

Hope this helps
